Avalanche Senior Elective Course - Fieldwork - On the Snow

On the snow instruction and companion rescue practice: 1/9/2022 in Tucker County, WV. 9:00-12:00. Exact location is TBD. This is an introductory course to avalanche education provided by Southern Division Avalanche instructors. This course is NOT a Level 1 course and should not be treated as such. Completion of this course will qualify as an elective for Senior and Certified Patroller candidates. Registration closes on 12/5/2021 and can be completed at NSP.org. Space is limited so reserve your spot today. Registrants will receive course information on 12/6/2021

Calendar Instructions

Placing an NSP-registered event on the Division Calendar is an easy three step process:

  1. Contact the Region Director in the region where the event will take place and clear the date. This will avoid conflicts of dates and help you get more people to your event.
  2. Register the Course and do all things required for your event, such as notify your Program chain of command (if required by your Program).
  3. Contact the Region Director with the following for the Calendar:
    • Date
    • Event name
    • Location
    • Course #
    • Contact Person
    • Contact Phone
    • Contact email

The Region Director will post the information on the Division Calendar.
